Health and Safety Committee Applications

Members interested in representing Division 295 on a health and safety committee are asked submit a written application to Craig Watt. Hard copies can be left in Mr. Watt’s mail slot at Toronto Yard GYO or you may e-mail your application to

The Legislative Committee comprised of Craig Watt, Ken Lawrence & Rick Fleming will interview prospective committee members. They will forward their findings to the Division for appointment and a short list for future use.

At the present time, positions for the Health and Safety Committees at Toronto Yard, Lambton Committee & GO Train member are vacant. The positions are for Conductors and Yardmen. The advertisement for these specific positions will close November 7, 2007.

Positions are craft specific & committee members must be familiar with the territory they will represent. A commitment of 2 years as outlined in the Canada labour code is expected.
