MWED letter to brother Dan Shewchuk

Around three weeks ago, I sent out the message found here. This was, and remains, a vital issue.

At the same time we also sent off a letter to Luc Bourdon, of Transport Canada Rail Safety. Today we received his response.

I had also previously sent letters to Mr. Manconi, General Manager of Track Programs and Equipment to issue our concerns and to Brother Dan Shewchuk, President TCRC (representing Running Trades Employees) to give him a warning for his people.

I have included all of these documents for your review and information.

Remember to stay safe out there and keep your eyes open. Even though Transport Canada has obviously taken our concerns and the company's plans very seriously, we still have to look out for our own safety at all times.

Hopefully, with all parties fully committed and involved, we will live to see safe and productive railroading at CPRail.

Stay safe, stay strong, stay united,

Bill Brehl
President
TCRC MWED
